Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

I just discovered this place by way of my large eyes panning for a quick meal after work... I called in for a pick up and my order was ready in 15 min as promised. Based on the location, I wasn't expecting much but when I walked in I knew that this place had to be good. The guys behind the counter were busting their tails to churn pies out and pack orders at lightning speed for deliveries. I was greeted with very friendly service and the guy who helped me even took time to answer my questions and give me some info about the business. The beer selection is average, they seem to stock the more popular brands, their selection is better than other take out places that I've seen and they will deliver beer right along with your pie. Overall this is a good find especially if you're on a budget. I ordered a medium margarita pizza with spinach which cost about $15. When I got it home it was still piping hot and the sauce had a nice bold flavor. Needles to say, that pie didn't last long... ;-) I'll be back there to try their other menu selections.

Got there on time for my pick up order and was told he didn't like how the first one came out so he made another one and I would need to wait 10 more minutes. I figured hey no problem if it's going to be good. That was not the case. Pizza was below average. Got a pepperoni and mushroom just like I do every time I try a new pizza place so I can Guage them all by the same pizza. Bland and cooked no better than a pizza from Domino's. Pass on this place as there are far better pizza joints in our area.

Best pizza in Coral Springs within walking distance from my front door. Oh no. I ordered some hot wings a few nights ago. I was pleasantly surprised at how tender and meaty they were ;] Also, GREAT PRICES. Large pizzas for 14 dollars. Can't beat that.

Pizza here was pretty good, and the slice was big. I'd go again if I'm in the mood for a slice as I drive by. Be sure to do the pizza & wings combo(you won't hear that from your doctor, lol). I'll have to get a full pie sometime.

Only one star because the delivery guy was nice , other than that, I ordered a calzone , no taste at all , ordered extra marinara sauce, did not receive it! Worse of all there was a hair in my food , that's just disgusting, never again will I order from there again.

I love both their pizza and wings. I have tried most of their wing flavors and they have not dissapointed me, I do however, ask them to go mild on the sauce as they are rather greasy and way too drenched. The pizza is delicious and the slices are 2.50 for a huge piece. The service is also great and friendly.

I order from here a few times a month. They have very late hours which is great for anyone who works late. I've yet to have anything that I didn't like. The pizza is great, as well as the salads, wings and desserts. You can't help but have a mini cannoli for $2. Delivery is always timely and the delivery guy is a sweetheart.

Dissapointed that I did not get to taste what others had been raving about. I took the advice of a Yelper by ordering both pizza and wings. Ordered for pick up which the girl who took the order said it would take 15-20 minutes. Arrived 20 minutes later, paid for my food and was asked to wait 5 minutes. I had no problem with it as the cashier was friendly and apologized for the delay so I went to the car to wait. Came back 5 minutes later and waited in line for another 5 minutes as they were helping other customers. I thought "Awesome that they are busy, the food must be good" (Note that on the phone they were telling customers that orders would be ready in 15-20 minutes as well as patrons in front of me) My turn came up and again was asked to come back as my order wasn't ready. Okay..... so I went to the car to wait until the 45 minute mark since calling in the order. Third time going in and my order is "almost" ready. I asked for a refund. I was offered a discount but I refused. I was asked if I just wanted the pizza as it just came out (seriously 45 minutes later?) but the wings would take a few more minutes. (Seriously again?) I got a refund. I'm all for going to local places and supporting smaller establishments but 50 minutes in and the order wasn't completely ready. If I had been told from the beginning it would take 50 minutes plus it would have been fine but I felt lied to when I waited more than double the time I was told it would be ready and I went back three times! I'm willing to try them again sometime because of the great reviews but I hope Pizza Brew takes this review under consideration as the back and forth and waiting was horrible.

This place is raw mostly because they deliver late and also because the pizzas wicked tasty and the ranch is bomb to be honest

Great Wings, decent pizza. The wings come in many flavors, good side sauces, cheap delivery, and they always cook as requested. I prefer the well done dry, and the sauce on the side.

This is my favorite "cheap pizza" in all of Coral Springs! It's take-out and delivery in a strip mall, so if you are looking for a nice sit-down, you'll need to look elsewhere. I love their cheese pizza, and their deals for two pies is good. We like to get a meatball and jalapeno pizza, which is really tasty. Their specialty pies are good, too! I like the barbecue pork pizza is super-tasty (I typically do not like barbecue, but it's not overpowering), though the last time I ordered it, it seemed like there was more onion than usual - not a fan of that... The 3-cheese bread is tasty! It's almost like garlic bread lightly covered in cheese, but minus the larger doses of oil & garlic. The wings are ok, but I am a wing-snob. I would prefer Wings & Ale, Roosters or Wings Plus if I am getting wings. Their salads are also ok - nothing exceptional. We have had strombolis and calzones, and they were tasty! They have an OK selection of the more popular beers, by comparison to most other cheaper take-out places. I am not a fan of any of these, but comparing this to most local cheap take out places, this is a benefit (for those who drink these beers). The kids love the desserts here.. The popular favorite is the big chocolate chip cookie! It is 8', which is big enough to share several ways, and it has always tasted fresh-baked. The mini-cannolis are also tasty, and a favorite with the kids. Again, remember - this is a take-out pizza joint, not a fancy Italian pastry shop! For what it is, these are pretty tasty. In all, I recommend this if you are looking for yummy "cheap pizza"!

Called from out of state to place a Father's Day delivery order....they were great. Excellent customer service, really helpful and accommodating. I didn't get to taste the food, but my dad, who did, said it was great and really loved the pizza and Stromboli. Would highly recommend just because of their great service!!!
